A new series of high temperature copper based shape memory alloys has been investigated. These alloys contain 13.5wt%Al, 0.27 - 7.86wt%Nb and balance copper. The martensitic start transformation temperatures are above 300 degrees centigrade. The primary precipitates of two types of phases based on niobum were found in the structure. These alloys have very good shape recovery (98%) which slowly decreases with increasing of niobum contain. The presence of primary precipitates in these alloys leads to their high deformability. The elongation exceed 12% at the strength about 700MPa.
