Stress of carbon steels during deformation at elevated temperature was tested. Below austenite range, the structure arisen by concurrent cementite dissolving, ferrite oversaturation, heteromorphous cementite precipitation, coagulation together with dynamic recovery and recrystallization of the matrix controls stress level during deformation and properties of the steel after deformation.
