EN
Introduction of advanced, automated technique in the characterization of microstructures has led to new insight in the formation and evolution of deformation microstructures during thermomechanical processing of metals. These new techniques have also allowed an accurate determination of microstructural parameters which are used in an analysis of the effect of metals and process parameters on the properties of a deformed metal.
