Tekst przedstawia doświadczenia kraju związkowego Nadrenii-Palatynatu w zakresie tworzenia regionalnej oferty przewozowej. W pierwszej dekadzie od czasu regionalizacji zarządzania kolejami, która miała miejsce w 1996 r., liczba pasażerów w Nadrenii-Palatynacie prawie się podwoiła. Na sukces ten złożyło się kilka działań władz regionalnych: wprowadzenie zintegrowanego rozkładu jazdy bazującego na stałym takcie, reaktywacja nieczynnych tras kolejowych, promocja kolei oraz wykorzystanie tej formy lokomocji w turystyce regionalnej. Dużą rolę odegrała też wprowadzenie nowego taboru, modernizacja tras kolejowych. Władze przykładają również dużą wagę do zapewnienie bezbarierowego dostępu do pociągów oraz do integracji z transportem autobusowym i rowerowym.

The paper presents the experiences of the Land Rhineland-Palatinate in the creation of regional rail transport offer. In the first decade, since the regionalization of the railways management in 1996, the number of passengers in Rhineland-Palatinate has almost doubled. The success is an result of a number of activities overtaken by regional authorities: the introduction of an integrated, tact timetable; reactivation of disused rail routes; promotion and development regional tourism. The introduction of new rolling stock, upgrading of railway tracks were important as well. The public transport authorities put also stress on barrier-free access to trains and on the integration with bus transport and cycling.
