Przedstawiono nowoczesny system rozjazdowy wybrany jako wyposażenie najdłuższego kolejowego tunelu świata - tunelu Gottharda w Alpach. Omówiono przesłanki wyboru rozwiązań technicznych oraz najważniejszych cech zastosowanych systemów: zintegrowanego systemu przestawiania i kontroli Hydrostar oraz systemu diagnostyki Roadmaster, których właściwości pozwoliły na spełnienie wysokich wymagań dotyczących dostępności oraz podatności utrzymaniowej systemu przy zachowaniu wymaganego poziomu bezpieczeństwa.

The article presents a modern turnout system as the equipment of the Gotthard Tunnel - the longest railway tunnel in the World. It explains the reasons as to why certain technical solutions have been chosen and describes the most important features of the implemented systems: Hydrostar - a combined point operating, locking and detection system and Roadmaster - diagnosis system. Due to the properties of the said systems the highest requirements with regards to availability and maintainability without affecting the required safety level could have been met.
