Abstrakty

Upon author's professional experience, he is mainly engaged in commercial architecture, in particular Commercial and Retail Centers. He is trying to determine and judge the Centers in terms of their beauty. The groundwork of the judgment is a definition which determines the beauty as a group of characteristics such as: proportion of shapes, harmony of colours, sounds and others, which make One delighted and filled with admiration. The individual elements of the phrase are considered in categories which refer to the style of designing, realization, and appearance of the buildings. After analysis, the author suggests, that Shopping Malls are a new group of architectural buildings, which can be judged in the category of beauty in the same manner as other modern architectural public buildings.
