PL

W ostatnich latach obserwujemy nowe spojrzenie na miasto i jego wartość dla człowieka. Różne zjawiska degradacji przestrzeni miejskich obligują do ich regeneracji zgodnie z zasadami rozwoju zrównoważonego. Rewitalizacja nie ogranicza się do zachowania istniejących czy tradycyjnych form kompozycji urbanistycznych, ale obejmuje inne działania będące częścią świadomej polityki przestrzennej w skali miasta. Zgodnie z wizją miasta XXI wieku ma ona polegać na tworzeniu zrównoważonego, indywidualnego krajobrazu miejskiego przez ochronę i planowanie wszystkich głównych elementów środowiska zamieszkania i dziedzictwa kulturowego.

In recent years, the city and its value for the human being have been looked at from a new perspective. Degradation of the urban space creates the obligation to regenerate it in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. Revitalisation is not limited to the maintenance of the existing or traditional forms of urban composition, but also involves other activities which are part of a conscious urban planning policy at the city scale. In accordance with the vision of the 21st century city, the policy should consist in creating a sustainable, individual cityscape through protection and planning of all major elements of the living environment and the cultural heritage.
