Peter Eisenman's and Daniel Libeskind.s challenge to make history vivid is rooted in the idea of self-referencial work of minimal art and the "non-site" concept of Robert Smithson. Micromegas, a hero from Voltaire's story, an alien from the outer space, becomes a model to formulate a new architects aim: to meet an objective world instead of making living easier.
