Abstrakty
The computer based boiler performance monitoring system has been developed to perform thermal-hydraulic and stress calculations of the boiler in the on-line mode. Measurements of temperatures, pressures, flows and gas analysis data are used to perform heat transfer analysis in the furnace and convection pass. The on-line calculation of a combustion chamber allows for an on-line determination of the heat flow rate transferred to the power boiler evaporator. With a quantitative indication of surface cleanliness, selective soot blowing can be directed at the specific problem area. Boiler monitoring system is also incorporated to provide details of changes in boiler efficiency and operating conditions following soot blowing, so that the effects of a particular soot blowing sequence can be analyzed and optimized later.
