Abstrakty

EN

The architectural possibilities offered by information technology and innovation in construction are transforming the definition of architecture in general and of the building envelope in particular. Contemporary architecture has been defined as an architecture of "covering skins" that have specific relationships with the outside by using building envelope like a skin, an energy exchanger (of light, of heat, of intormation). The membranes and filters are structures independent from the rest of the building and have an autonomous life. The surfaces of the buildings are able to display new signs and meanings.
