Artykuł porusza wybrane problemy związane z ruchem alternatywnego budownictwa. Omawia tylko te technologie i materiały, które zdaniem autora mają szanse stać się wiodącymi w kreowaniu architektury XXI w.

The trend of contemporary natural "low-tech" building methods is developing more and more dynamically in parallel with the worldwide trend of the development of modern "high-tech" materials and technologies. Broad implementation of alternative construction makes it possible to satisfy the basic needs of cheap cubature for the third world citizens as well as carry out a spectacular return to nature for the resident of the richest countries of the world in the 21th century. The article discusses some selected issues of the development of contemporary building methods using such natural material as (high-tech) clay, straw bales in an architectural context. It also brings up the architectural and building problems of experimental solutions which use waste materials and an innovative search for the creation of some new valves of contemporary man.d hausing environment.
