In this paper the application of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) procedure to waste oils regeneration is presented. Two different regeneration routes have been taken into consideration and the results of the LCA study are discussed. The results of our study reveal that the route based on vacuum destillation and finishing clay treatment has an impact factor highter than the route, where hydrofinishing is used as the finishing step for the regeneration.
