The paper presents preliminary conclusions on experimental research carried out by author for conditions present during formation of liquid structures appear on a horizontal, heated surface of a metal wall. Research was carried out in the range of parameters where the droplets wet the wall surface. Water, aniline and toluene were investigated. Results were presented in the form of two- and three-dimensional relations, with regard to the change of the maximal value of the wetting coefficient in the function of characteristic parameters describing the development of the phenomenon.
