Research results determined the possibility of use of the hydrogen peroxide in the process of reduction Cr(VI) into Cr(III) in diluted solution of chromic wastewater. To decrease concentration of Cr(VI) in the infiltrate and model solution to the level below 0,1 ppm as required by Polish regulations the quantity of used hydrogen peroxide should be 60-100% higher stoichiometric. Lower pH of the Cr(VI) solution allows to increase the effectiveness of the Cr(VI) reduction. The highest pH which allow to obtain concentration of Cr(VI) < 0,1 ppm was 1,6.
