Abstrakty

EN

The implementation of a new system of roof covering relying on titanium-and-zinc belt sheets, allows to obtain original architectural shapes of roofs. Roof surfaces made of such belt-sheets can be formed both as planes and curves or solid bodies. These new possibilities are provided by the system which assures water-tightness even on most irregular and curvilinear surfaces. Titanium-and-zinc sheets can be used also as external wall lining. The architectural transition between roof surface and wall linings can be fluent and provides new architectural possibilities. The discussed system of roof coverage has both outstanding technical and aesthetic advantages. In effect, it has been applied in leading projrcts in Poland, and in world scale.
