Use of selected turbulence models to calculate flow around a cylinder

Abstrakty
The paper presents application different turbulence models to predict the separation point for flow pass a circular cylinder, with the boundary layer equations. Four of the turbulence models based on eddy viscosity, were chosen: Baldwin-Barth's one-equation model and three of two-equations models (k-epsilon Launder-Sharma's model, k - omega and tau - omega Wilkox's models). The obtained results of numerical calculations were compared with corresponding result of experimental work avaiable in the literature
