Abstrakty

EN

The purpose of this study deals with an optimization of flat rib with constant or various heights applied as reinforcement for segmented pipe structures. Considering the strength of such structures, the optimization was effectively carried out using the data systematic searching method and next the Monte Carlo one. The purpose of such fastening is especially important when diameter of piping system is over 1000 mm and when bending/twisting load can be neglected by application of pipes compensators. The results of numerical computation FEM is presented in form of nondimensional diagram, which should be applied in engineering practice.
