Obecnie coraz większe znaczenie w wyborze przez użytkownika konstrukcji pojazdu szynowego mają takie jego cechy, jak emitowany hałas, drgania oraz trwałość. Cechy te muszą być uwzględnione w procesie projektowania, budowy i badania prototypu w taki sposób, aby możliwa była optymalizacja powstającej konstrukcji.
NVH and durability problems in vehicle design are the most important phenomena that should be taken into account during of a new structure or during modification of existing one. To solve such problems in shortest possible time special procedures based on model simulation are formulated. Presented design methodology is based on modelling and identification of two types of model: discrete and continuos. The first model is applied for simulation dynamic behaviour of the system during its move on a track. Real geometry of the track should be measured. Simulation results in the form of kinematics parameters and dynamic forces between particular elements of the structure are used as input data for analysis of structural dynamics behaviour. As continuos model of the vehicle the finite element model is employed. Based on this model the strains and stress distribution can be predicted for any force vector. Some dynamic analysis including model analysis can be done. Simulation result for formulated model are verified and validated based on experimental investigation of the structure. Case study with tram 116N is shown.
