A method of measuring water stages in the gallery of spilway has been presented in this paper. Water stage measurements in the gallery were carried out in the using a prototype electronics measuring device based on the concept of long line. A computer code enables the user to select proper filling scheme the wetted perimeter and to calculate the basic flow parameters.
