W artykule omówiono problemy związane z przemianami energetycznymi. Zostały one przedstawione w aspekcie dotychczasowych praktyk z uwzględnieniem możliwych do przewidzenia następstw związanych z ekologią oraz podstawami życia na Ziemi. Wskazano kierunki działań, którymi powinien się kierować rozwój nowoczesnej techniki.

We seem to get the impression that the manhood has finally discovered the ecological dimension of life. It would be very philosophical if we would explore the recyclability of life itself. So, we will define human activity strictly as an effort to achieve and provide an average and comfortable surrounding for the whole population on planet Earth. Vehicles are among peoples' favourite material things. Motor vehicles with their large numbers occupy the same life surroundings as we do: space, water, soil, raw materials and air. An ilustration of this is the fact that one vehicle during the extensive one year usage uses up as much oxygen as its owner does during all of his life. One thing that we keep forgetting in today's' studies on ecology is the energetic satiation on our planet. Every energetic source that we introduce, whether it's from outer space or the Earths' crust or from energy sources that we use in everyday life, it stays in our environment as a parasitic content, which significantly changes ecological and genetic conditions on Earth.
