The article presents research results in the range of advantages and barriers of external audits as well as audits that implicate the improvement of clients' audits process, certificating units and audits of rubber industry companies led at the suppliers'. As the main client's audits advantages, analyzed companies, point at improvement with their clients' relations, as well as collecting additional, valuable for the further cooperation information. Identical tendency appears in the case of suppliers' audits. One can conclude that the rubber industry companies transmit their clients' expectations on the demands with reference to their suppliers. Next, the result of certificating units' audits, is confirmation of compliance with requirements, improvement of functioning in organizations basic and auxiliary processes, raising the effectiveness of systems and also solutions connected with effectiveness in companies' actions. The advantage of quality certificates is increasing clients' trust, reinforcing the company's image in the market and also the guarantee of fulfilling expectation and suggestions of the sector clients. In the opinion of surveyed companies, among encountered barriers during suppliers' audits, lack of an access to an adequate quantity of documents, lack of identified by the suppliers acting procedures, lack of suppliers' management engagement in the led quality audit, and also lack of proper technical infrastructure of the supplier. Audited companies by the certificating units pay attention to too high costs of certificating services. Crucial information for the certificating units may appear the fact of existing the market niche in the range of an insufficient number of ISO/TS 16949 auditors. Improvement actions taken in the range of suppliers' audits concentrate, particularly, on checking the tasks' effectiveness from the previous audit and reinforcing auditing teams' cast (such as a technologist, a proxy or management). Next, the aim of barriers' elimination encountered during certificating units' audits, companies direct their actions towards managers' participation in certificating units' audits, and also developing the cooperation based on partnership (exchanging, improving information). The detailed discussed research results in the article let companies of different trades improve actions in the discussed range.
