Przedstawiono dane obejmujące wielkość produkcji i eksportu odlewów, stosowane technologie produkcji, stan zatrudnienia, nakłady inwestycyjne, sytuację finansową przemysłu odlewniczego, a także zmiany w ostatnim dziesięcioleciu produkcji całkowitej odlewów oraz z poszczególnych tworzyw. Widoczny w ostatnich latach wzrost wielkości produkcji odlewów, w tym głównie odlewów z żeliwa sferoidalnego i ze stopów metali nieżelaznych, a także wzrost wielkości eksportu świadczą o korzystnych zmianach w krajowej produkcji odlewniczej.
In this publication the current state of the Polish foundry industry according to the statistical data for year 2005 in the range of production volume and export, the applied production technologies, buyers of castings, employment and investment outlays, and financial situation of the foundry sector have been presented. The changes which took place in the last decade in the total production of castings, and in the production of individual materials have been given. The increase in the total volume of the castings production, including castings of spheroidal graphite iron and non-ferrous metals castings, the increase in exports and in the demand for cast parts used by the automotive industry have shown the advantageous changes in Polish foundry production.
