The article presents the essence of Corporate Social Responsibility concept as well as selected methods of its implementation (like ISO 26000, codes of conduct, social responsibility reports etc.) The final part presents the results of the author's survey of a sample of 300 business entities in Poland. On this basis, the author claims that the CSR activities most frequently quoted by his respondents were performing their financial liabilities (79%), improving occupational safety and health levels (76%), compliance with law (74%) and providing internship opportunities for students (70%).
