Przedstawiono aktualny stan wiedzy dotyczący zastosowania bioreaktorów strużkowych z różnymi wyplenieniami, w biooczyszczaniu powietrza ze styrenu, ksylenu i ich mieszanin. Mikroorganizmy zdolne do biodegradacji tych zanieczyszczeń zestawiono w tabeli 1. Podano źródła emisji styrenu i ksylenu. Podano kierunki rozwoju i zastosowanie bioreaktorów strużkowych w biologicznym oczyszczania gazów odlotowych ze styrenu i ksylenu.

The review of the experiments referred to the biopurification of the air containing styrene, xylene and its mixture, in the trickle-bed bioreactors with different packings, is presented. The microorganisms able to degrade these impurities are shown in Table 1. The sources of the emission of styrene and xylene are given. The trends and applications of the trickling filter bioreactors in the biological purification of the exhaust gases from styrene and xylene are presented.
