The influence of casing and liner inertia of the wedge cumulative war-head on a displacement velocity of their explosively driven elements and on the explosive active mass, has been analysed in this paper. Simple algebraic formulae were derived to estimate the displacement velocity of the casing and liner elements, and of the explosive active mass. The results of theoretical calculations, obtained with the aid of these formulae, are in agreement with the experimental data.
