On the basis of his research on three selected companies the author concludes that in the future the key person in organisations will be the Board's representative in charge of management. He will become the leader of the information and controlling processes with a capacity for taking strategic decisions. His activity will be based on controlling with the following characteristics: concentration on all aspects and their related records, defined processes with determined responsibility centres, and concentration on the future and the ineffective processes.
