Poprawna terminologia, od której powinno wymagać się precyzji, ma wyjątkowe znaczenie, skoro posiadamy takie narzędzia jak radio, TV, internet. Tu możliwa jest manipulacja na dużą skalę. Z internetem jednak łączy się brak sposobu selekcji nadmiaru informacji (dobrej oraz złej). Refleksjami na ten temat dzieli się teoretyk i praktyk z obszaru techniki.

The use of correct meanings and terms has an excepcional significance in appriopriate understanding of many texts presented everywhere. The precision of this kind is specially necessary in radio, TV, press or internet. But additional field of similar application exists in technology or in sciences in generally. First problems appeared during the translation of some European standards into Polish, specially - ISO 9000 standards translated from English to national version. The posterior discussions were sometimes very profound or even hard. It forms Quality of translation, according not only with the letters or words used, but according to the meanings presented in whole phrases or parts of texts. In the article are demonstrated some examples of bad or incorrect translation of many new meanings. They are discussed and explained from different points of view, specially in cases, in which they have various applications depending from the contexts utilized. It's interesting that the problem is demonstrated mainly by practicioners because lack of order makes more difficult the work in industry, in sciences applied. In conclusion, the closer cooperation with PKN-Polish Committee for Standarization is proposed in aim to avoid more mistakes or incorrectnesses. The article presents those aspects of national development with international impacts.
