W artykule przeprowadzono teoretyczną, wieloaspektową analizę związku pomiędzy poziomem jakości produktu a ponoszonymi przez przedsiębiorstwo kosztami i osiąganym zyskiem. Wnioski z rozważań poparto wynikami badań empirycznych, prowadzonych przez Instytut Planowania Strategicznego w USA.

In the article was a multiaspects analysis demonstrated, based on consideration of products quality levels and costs with profits realized. The obtained conclusions are by empirical investigations supported, which were effectively in the USA performed. Many interesting diagrams with appropriate explanations, in the context described and discussed, have been presented. In the elaborated table are different approaches compared, with posterior analysis of quality costs models. The growth of ROI factor (return on investments) and net profit is in direct dependency from quality of products demonstrated. So, the quality is a competitive edge in industry, but it needs correct real performance and not only theoretical discussions. From quality circles to work is a base for success, because the high quality of products influences in biggest part on the financial results of companies. All of these aspect are presented and described.
