It is pointed out that the didactics of physics, structure and methodology of physics and physics itself are inseparable. A proposal is made about the new curriculum of general physics. Relationship between the language of didactics of physics, the language of physics as well as the language of mathematics and its metalanguage(s) is discussed. The arguments are given for the didactics of physics as a science.
