Rozpoczynamy kolejny cykl publikacji poświęcony tym razem różnym aspektom TQM. W ciągu bieżącego roku zamieścimy 12 odrębnych opracowań różnych autorów na ten wielowątkowy temat. Prezentować tu będziemy aktualną wiedzę i przemyślenia naszych znanych oraz nowych, wybitnych autorów. Cykl ten zaproponował nam Pan Prof. Zbigniew Kłos z Politechniki Poznańskiej, co z wdzięcznością przyjmujemy.

What is practically and theoretically understood under the meaning of Total Quality Management - TQM? Why is it so important? The article presents the fundamental development of management based on classical theories of Weber, Taylor and Fayol. The transition to the modern thinking represented by Deming, Juran or Crosby permited the acceptation of QUALITY as the core element of actual competitiveness. Further widening of that idea related to the achievements of Japanese firms as well, has demonstrated the importance of teamwork, zero defects approach, continuous training and imprevement, and open information system too.
