Od początku ostatnich przemian ustrojowych w polskiej polityce gospodarczej dominuje postrzeganie rolnictwa jako nieproduktywnego działu gospodarki, przynoszącego tylko nieco ponad 5% Produktu Krajowego Brutto (PKB), przy zaangażowaniu ponad 27% ogółu zatrudnionych.

From the beginning of Polish transformation in economy, in 90ties, the agriculture is treated as no-productive sector, which gives only over 5% of GNP and employing over 27% of people in production age. It causes certain problems for whole economy, because practically forms its integral port, influencing on complex progress and development of the state. The solutions existing in European Union undergo the modifications as well, but they should be observed and correctly applied in the domestic conditions. Some indications are included in the (Polish) National Preparation Programme to the EU membership. But they must be realized and not only presented. Many analytical observations and final conclusions are demonstrated in this publication.
