Abstrakty

This paper is concerned with video coding systems. The main subject is specially related to hardware architectures dedicated to that theme. An algorithm based on Shapiro EZW coding method is presented. It is modified in such a way to simplify designated hardware architecture. This allow the algorithm implemented in FPGA structures and performed in real time systems. This work is a contribution to worldwide intense research on developing reconfigurable and user dedicated Custom Computing Machines (CCM).
