Daily dynamics of biogenic substances migration in the subecosystem of the lake water surface microlayer

Abstrakty
Zdolność ta wynika m.in. z procesów transportu hydrosfera-atmosfera oraz transportu w obrębie samej mikrowarstwy powierzchniowej. Prezentowana praca przedstawia procesy transportu substancji biogenicznych z wody podpowierzchniowej do mikrowarstwy pod-powierzchniowej i vice versa oraz w obrębie wybranych fragmentów mikrowarstwy powierzchniowej w nawiązaniu do wędrówek fitoneustonu. Omawiany transport substancji biogenicznych i fitoneustonu dotyczy okresu jednej doby i jest omawiany na podstawie estuariowego jeziora Gardno.
The surface microlayer is a several-hundred-micrometer thin layer which constitutes an independent ecoton creating the line of contact between the two environments: atmosphere and hydrosphere. This layer has the capacity to accumulate chemical substances and microorganisms in concentrations and numbers much higher than these observed in the water body. This capacity results, among others, from the hydrosphere-atmosphere transport as well as the transport within the surface microlayer. The paper presents the processes of biogenic substances transport from the subsurface water to the subsurface microlayer and vive versa as well as within the selected sections of the surface microlayer in relation to the phytoneuston migrations. The discussed transport of the biogenic substances and phytoneuston refers to the period of one day and is presented on the example of the estuary Gardno Lake.
