W pracy przedstawiono przypadek 15-letniej dziewczynki, która zgłosiła się do Gabinetu Fizjoterapii w celu poprawy funkcji motorycznych, upośledzonych po wypadku. Trudności diagnostyczne wynikające ze znacznej liczby zróżnicowanych nie powiązanych ze sobą symptomów neurologicznych nie pozwoliły na określenie bezpośrednio po urazie prawidłowego rozpoznania - Zaburzenie konwersyjne. Zaprezentowano techniki wykonywanych zabiegów usprawniających oraz uzyskane efekty wspólnej 7-miesięcznej pracy. Artykuł zawiera również istotne informacje o diagnostyce i leczeniu schorzenia oraz sugestie prowadzenia kompleksowej rehabilitacji ze szczególnym zwróceniem uwagi na rolę ćwiczeń fizycznych w powrocie do zdrowia.

The thesis presents the case of a 15 year old girl who reported to a physiotherapy clinic in order to improve her motor functions after becoming disabled in an accident. The diagnostic difficulties stemming from numerous diversified neurological symptoms, which were not inter-related, did not allow for the correct diagnosis of conversion disorder directly after the injury. The treatment techniques performed to improve the patient's condition as well as the effects of a joint 7-month effort are presented in the thesis. The article also includes significant information about the diagnostics and treatment of the condition as well as suggestions about carrying out comprehensive rehabilitation with special emphasis on the role of physical exercises in the recovery.
