The paper presents three projects combining education with the practical activities for sustainable water management, which were carried out in close cooperation with local partners. The first project was organized in Dziewin in 2006 and resulted in a decision to build a constructed wetland to treat wastewater from this settlement. The subject of two other practical projects, which were realized within the summer school “Challenges of Sustainable Development in Poland”, was water management in Przysłop and Zawoja.
