Przedmiotem pracy było wykonanie analizy zapotrzebowania Unii Europejskiej na gaz ziemny w perspektywie 2030 roku oraz określenie kierunków i możliwości dostaw tego nośnika energii do Unii Europejskiej. Wykonana analiza obejmuje: - określenie obecnej struktury energii pierwotnej Unii Europejskiej, w tym roli wydobycia własnego oraz struktury importu, - prognozę zapotrzebowania Unii Europejskiej na energię pierwotną, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem gazu ziemnego, - kierunki dostaw do Unii Europejskiej w okresie 2010-2030, w tym istniejące i planowane połączenia gazociągowe oraz transport gazu w formie skroplonej (LNG), - podsumowanie, z konkluzją dotyczącą możliwości zapewnienia odpowiadających potrzebom dostaw gazu ziemnego do Unii Europejskiej przy wykorzystaniu istniejącej i planowanej infrastruktury transportowej.

The Raport was elaboration of analysis of European Union demand for natural gas till year 2030 and definition of sources and possibilities of it's supply to European Union. The Report covers: - determination of present structure of primary energy in European Union including the role of indigenous production and import, - prognosis of European Union primary energy demand with special consideration of that of natural gas, - direction of European Union supply in period 2010-2030, including existing and planned gas transmission pipes and gas transport in liquid form (LNG), - summary giving a conclusion concerning the possibility of needed amount of natural gas supply to European Union using existing and planned gas infrastructure.
