Chernigov's area is situated in the north of Ukraine, the general territory - 31,9 thousand km2. The perspective oil-and-gas-bearing area makes approximately 20 thousand km2. There are 23 oil and gas fields discovered in the region. Deposits, which have entered in a late development stage, are characterized by difficult geological and physical producing conditions. For stabilization and volume's accretion of hydrocarbons production application of methods on an inflow's intensification and other technological actions is necessary. In this direction, the big and positive enough experience has an oil-and-gas production department (OGPD) "Chernigovneftegas". Annually OGPD receives about 5-15% of oil production. In 2005, 89 different actions on inflows intensification were taken, new wells were put in operation and other technological actions have been lead. As a result additiona185 thousand t. oil, 3,3 million m3 gas and 500 t. condensate were mined.
