Abstrakty
In this work the results of initial investigation of selected Co-Cu-WC materials intended for a matrix in diamond impregnated tools are presented. Hot pressed specimens were subjected for density measurements as well as examined for 3-point bending test and structural investigations that cover light optical microscopy, SEM and X-ray microanalysis. Obtained results show that applied hot pressing parameters do not ensure the pore-free samples. The application of the selected materials in diamond impregnated tools depends on the hot pressing parameters which should be changed to achieve the required relative density.
