W artykule opisano nietypowy - poza dziedziną sztucznej inteligencji - przykład zastosowania technologii agentowej. System wieloagentowy został wykorzystany do celu konstrukcji systemu egzaminującego. Zaproponowane rozwiązanie jest oparte na dwóch pomysłach: koncepcji "Drzewa Niewiedzy" oraz zastosowaniu autonomicznych agentów. Drzewo Niewiedzy jest strukturą tworzoną podczas procesu egzaminowania. W strukturze tej przechowywane są informacje określające, w obrębie pewnej dziedziny, które fragmenty wiedzy nie zostały jeszcze opanowane przez egzaminowanego w wystarczającym stopniu. Daje to możliwość uzyskiwania dokładniejszej informacji na temat zakresu "braku wiedzy" egzaminowanego niż w przypadku stosowania metody tradycyjnego egzaminu testowego z określonym z góry zestawem testów lub pytań. Drugi pomysł - zastosowanie technologii agentowej do celu konstrukcji systemu sprawdzania wiedzy - zapewnia większą elastyczność systemu niż klasyczne metody komputerowego egzaminowania, m.in. przez możliwość wyboru kolejności zadawania pytań lub przeprowadzania testów.

In the paper, a non-typical (out of a domain of AI) case of agents' technology application was described. A multi-agent system was used to create the system for examination. The proposed solution is based on two ideas: a concept of the so-called Ignorance tree and the application of autonomous agents. The Ignorance tree is a structure created during a course of examination. In this structure, there is stored information describing within a given area, which units of knowledge have not been learnt yet by an examinee satisfactorily. Such a way of knowledge check guarantees obtaining more detailed information on the range of "lack of knowledge" of an examinee, than in case of applying a traditional test examination with a previously defined set of questions or tests. The second idea - application of agents' technology to build an examination system - assures better flexibility of the system than classical computer-aided examination methods, e.g. enables the choice of sequence of questions or tests.
