This paper describes studies focused on Pazzo's treatise regarded as a vital element of method of instructingq uadraturistsT. he scope of study comprisesr esearcheso f status of Polish studies of the treatise as well as valuation of pictoriality of presentation of geometrical aspects by Pozzo. The paper poses a thesis and tries to prove it: Andrea Pozzo's treatise on perspective, despite some geometric inexactness, was once a modern textbook for baroque quadraturists.
