EN

In crisis situations logistic support is organized and executed in order to help the injured. It includes the delivery of supply and the logistic services. In delivering supplies, the priorities comprise drinking water, food, clothes, personal hygiene articles as well as the delivery of (electric and thermal) energy. Logistic services include first of all: transport services, economically - vital services (the preparation of meals, quarters) and trade services. Moreover, the author includes to tchem also medical services (therapeutic-evacuation, sanitary, anti-epidemic as well as the delivery of medical supplies). The specific feature of logistic support organized to help the injured is that it can (usually has to) be executed according to minimum standards. The essence of logistic operations undertaken in crisis situations is to save the health and life of the injured as well as assurance of the possibility to survive. The specific character of crisis situations determines also the process of logistic management which the groups of logistic support are responsible for as well as the groups of sanitary care and social help of the teams of crisis management on the level of commune, administrative district and the province. The aim of this process is to assure the logistic assistance to all the injured in possibly short time since the moment the crisis appeared. Logistic management in crisis situations includes: the formulating of the logistic operations strategy, planning, initiating and controlling as well as the control of the process of logistic tasks completion to help the injured. The specific trait of this management is that it is executed under pressure, in conditions of continuous risk as well as very tense situations.
