W artykule zostały omówione problemy związane z opłatami drogowymi związanymi z korzystaniem z infrastruktury drogowej w Polsce w świetle prawa wspólnotowego

New regulations enforced by the European Commission much extended the scope of the possibility of the collection of fees, an included not only net stayed TEN-T but also all motorways in Europe, the Directive gave the possibility of burdening heavy duty vehicles with payments to Member States which not only costs of infrastructure are balancing but also caused by the road traffic of the noise and the air pollution. New provisions enabled off-peak hours member states of raising the amount of fees in the rush hour and lowering in order effectively to reduce straining him. Applicable standards predict allocating profits on fares for the improvement in the stability of the sector of the transport. They constitute the strong incentive to the accumulation of the new income on account of payments and using them for financing specific transport projects. Very well Poland is becoming part of this direction. Constantly the increasing network of paid national roads is giving the chance of the permanent development of the transport. Growing number of domestic carriers using this network but first of all foreign permanent investing is guaranteeing into the development of the road infrastructure and in the process the better utilization of the geographical situation of the country.
