Abstrakty
Mint is one of the most important spice plants. Due to its taste, aromatic and health-promoting properties, it has been widely used, among others: in medicine, cosmetics industry and food production. The most popular variety is peppermint, which is mainly known for its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anticancer and digestive properties. Further research, including clinical research, is needed to fully understand the impact of mint on the human body and the mechanisms of action of the ingredients it contains.
