Jeszcze do niedawna przestarzałe budynki przemysłowe nie uważano za obiekty godne jakiejkolwiek uwagi, a tym bardziej niechętnie określano je mianem architektury. Przeważnie nieme i anonimowe, uosabiające w pełni niechciane profanum, gdy tchnięto w ich wnętrza i otoczenie nowe funkcje, nowe życie społeczne, zyskały nagle na wartości i ich przemijanie przerodziło się w trwanie. Być może najważniejszym powodem, dla którego obecnie rewitalizuje się przestarzałe dzielnice i rejony miast oraz pojedyncze obiekty są czynniki metafizyczne - genius loci i ciągłość tradycji.

In the last time yet don't pay attention of the industrial buildings as objects worthy of notice or some whatewer for to interest and admiration and all the more reluctantly to qualify as "true" architecture. Those buildings largely - ‚"mute" and anonymus theirs have to impersonate of full indesired "profanum" when to revive in the interiors and surroundings of the architecture. A new functions and a new social life - the buildings to find on the value and a passing away to transformed in the duration. Maybe is that most of important cause for which are to revitalised old - absolete quartier and regions of the cities also individual objects are the metaphysicals factors - "genius loci" and continuity of the tradition.
