Abstrakty

EN

The article presents the problems of economic transformation and economic space restructuring. The author describes demographic and economic changes in contemporary world (including food and energy management), and their impact on ecosystems. In conclusion the author emphasizes that preserving the biological balance is necessary condition of human existence, and that natural environment changes cannot exceed the boundaries set by the biosphere laws. Human economic activity towards biosphere requires reconstruction on regional and global scale. Regional reconstruction underwent two main phases: restructuring of the main industry branches and conversion of the region's main productive body as a result of the technology adjustment, thanks to economy's unification process. The article discusses also the problems of unification, dis-industrialization, re-industrialization, postmodernism and post-ford era.
