The aim of this article is preliminary analysis of basic problems connected with identification and classification of logistical services. The logistical services' markets are described in various ways and the concept of a logistical services operator is defined. Thus there is a necessity of finding the criteria with the aid of which there would be a possibility of defining and classifying logistical services. It would be a basis for describing markets both from a qualitative and a quantitative perspective. The author assumed that the comprehensiveness of logistical services is a crucial feature which facilitated classification. This feature is one of the most important parameters of logistical services and determines their competitiveness.
