Test Stand for Measurement of Torque and Force of Miniature Electromagnetic Actuators

Determination of static and dynamic properties of new miniature actuators requires application of test stands. There is presented new solutions of measurement unit, based on optoelectronic technique. There is possibility to measure both torque and force applied at the end of the semi-beam. Deflection of the semi-beam due to the applied load will result in a change of the reflection angle of the light beam and thus the position of the light spot on the surface of the PSD sensor. The mathematical model of the mechanical transducer geometry was build as well as dedicated computer software for analysis of the way of radiation. The prototype of the test stand was build and used for tests of miniature DC motor.
