W świetle faktu, iż zasoby ludzkie należą do najbardziej cennych zasobów przedsiębiorstw, analiza struktury pracowników oraz zarządzania nimi zdaje się być niezwykle istotna. W ostatniej dekadzie siła robocza współczesnych przedsiębiorstw uległa zasadniczym przemianom. Nową rzeczywistością stała się wysoce zróżnicowana siła robocza. Wymiary, w których pracownicy różnią się między sobą oraz potrzeba osiagnięcia stanu zarówno jednorodności jak i różnorodności stanowią znaczące wyzwania dla zarządzania współczesnymi przedsiębiorstwami.Celem niniejszego opracowania jest zwrócenie uwagi na istotę, specyfikę i znaczenie zarządzania różnorodnością w oparciu o przegląd literatury, który stanowi tło dla analizy wyzwań dla zarządzania różnorodnością w przedsiębiorstwach sektora transport i logistyka.
