It is known that at the moments of start-up and halt of the centrifugal compressor there occur some extreme dynamic loads on its solid shaft that can result in negative effects in bearings (the occurrence of scratches on the shaft spindle and on the bearing inserts, etc.). A possible way to solve this problem can be the application of a lubricant with antiwear additives on the basis of ultra-dispersion materials (UDM).
