The series of three articles deals with the idea and use of Monte Carlo methods in the modelling contemporary battlefield. The practice of applying numerical experiments has been for long present in many sciences. It is due to the fact that elementary programming skills are sufficient to conduct numerical experiments. Hence, a complex mathematical apparatus to describe the modelling of real phenomena is no obstacle to carry out experiments like this. Conducting simulation experiments proves purposeful where the mathematical description of phenomenon under consideration is particularly complicated. The situation mentioned above also occurs when we take into account the phenomena of contemporary battlefield. Moreover, applying numerical experiments gives a possibility to numerous repetition of the research experiment, at the same time gaining necessary skills to find the relations between the model variables. It also happens in case of examining the relations between model phenomena.
